
India is an Independent Country. Today we have world’s largest Democracy. Today we have freedom to do anything. But it was not always. Many people Sacrificed in liberating India. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was one of them. Today in this blog we will get to know about Netaji on his 125th Birth Anniversary.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23 January 1897 in Cuttack,Orissa Division, Bengal provision to Prabhavati Dutt Bose & Janakinath Bose, an advocate belonging to a Bengali kayastha family. He was the ninth in a family of 14 children. In 1909 he done his primary education & joined Revensha Collagiate. He was influenced by the teaching of Swami Vivekananda & Ramakrishna Paramhansa after reading works at the age of 16. He felt that his religion was more important than his studies.In those days, the British in culcutta often made offensive remarks to the Indian in public places this behaviour of British began to influence his thinking. His nationalistic temperament came to light when he was expelled for assoulting professor Oaten for the latter’s anti Indian Comments.

Netaji reached London in 1919 for preparing ICS Exam. In 1920 he cracked ICS Exam & Got ICS job. But in 1921 he Resigned from his job because he not want to work for British Government. In 1921 Netaji Reached Bombay & met Mahatama Gandhi. Gandhiji advice him to join Ashayog Andolan at Bengal. Subhash Chandra Bose became a big leader very soon & he came to known as Netaji. Netaji was imprisoned a total of 11 times in his political life. In 1938 Gandhiji choose Bose for the president of Congress. In 1938, when Gandhi had chosen Subhash for the post of Congress president, he did not like Subhash methodology. Meanwhile, the Second World war was clouded in Europe. Subhash wanted that the freedom struggle of India should be Intensified by talking advantage of this difficulty to England. He had also started taking steps in this direction during his presidential tenure but Gandhiji did not agree with this. As he resign from Presidentship of Congress on 29 April 1939 & start his new party Forward Bloc within congress. On September 1939, Subhash was reported to be fight a war in Britain & Germany in Madras. He announced that now India has a golden chance to get liberty.

In 1940 Netaji destroyed Halvet Istambh which was the symbol of India’s slavery . That is why government detained him at his own house. On 16 January Bose escaped from his house & Reached Kabool the capital of Afganistan. In Afghanistan he was helped by Italian & Germany Ambassy & he reached Berlin the capital of Germany via Moscow the Capital of Russia.In 1942 he met Adolf Hitler. But Hitler not interested to help India. So Netaji leave Germany & he reached Japan .In Japan he met Prime minister Hedici Tojo who assured him to help. In Japan Netaji Made Azad Hind Fauj. In Azad Hind fauj he recruited Indian Prisoners of war holding the British. In East Asia Netaji gave several speeches to the permanent Indians to join Azad Hind fauj. He also gave messages in his call- Tum Mujhe Khun do Mai Thumhe Azadi Dunga & Chalo Delhi. During second World War with the support of Japanese army the Azad Hind Fauj attacked Indian Colonial Government. But later the British got the upper hand as japnese army retreated. After the retreatment of Japanese army, the Azad Hind fauj weakened, but Netaji Continued his journey with the Queen Battalion of Jhansi. He set an example of Honour.

Death
After Japan defeat in second World War Netaji needed to find a new path. He decided to ask for help on 18 August 1945. Netaji was on his way to Manchuria by Airplane. He went missing during this journey. On 23 August 1945, Tokyo Radio Reported that Netaji Plane was crashed near Taihuko & he dead on this Accident . But recently Government of India found evidences that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had lived in Ayodhya as Gumnami Baba for a long time to protect himself from British & he could liberate India . But nothing is Clear yet.
